interested in licensing their technology or creating a company,
getting a fast start in raising capital or getting more value out
of their core technical capabilities, will benefit from the EBTC’s
business strategy, market research and capital raising support.
The Center works with early stage investors in the Northeast. Our
review of plans and presentations has been critical to the ability
of firms to successfully raise funds in private capital markets
and government agencies.
Business Strategy
The EBTC will help clients assess the business potential of the
technologies in their portfolio and target the best technology to
move to the next stage of commercialization. The Center helps determine
the best applications and target markets that will maximize the
business potential of the technology. Then we will help develop
a strategic business plan to obtain financing.
Commercial Partnering Assistance
To leverage strategic business development partnerships with other
companies, the EBTC will research and initiate negotiations between
the technology developers and potential partners.
Investor Presentations and Introductions
The EBTC will help clients organize a presentation to investors,
and arrange constructive critiques of the presentation by investors
and experts. The Center may also introduce clients to individual,
professional and corporate investors who will consider providing
seed and other investments.
